| Carmelita Couture is a women’s wear collection made up of innovative pieces drawing inspiration from the light & beauty of nature & all Creation. Designer, Carmelita Martell honors her love of travel, dance, and the arts by fusing her own original prints and silhouettes with the modern and architectural influences of metropolitan fashion. The collection promotes wearable, Artistic expression. Not creatively fullfilled in her previous career as a Financial consultant, she deciided to start designing & wearing her creations in Miami social circles. In 2006, an opportunity to participate in a fashion show during Art Basel came her way and after receiving such positive feedback Martell knew then it was time to pursue her passion for design full-time. And so, Carmelita Couture was born.In the spring of 2008, Martell officially launched the Carmelita Couture collection. Now based out of Philadelphia, Martell continuously works to make designs for women of all shapes and sizes that are not afraid to stand out. “I love high-fashion and I try to create that at a more affordable price point” and she designs Carmelita Couture to fulfill that need for her customers. Her goal each season is to make women feel like what they are wearing is one-of-a-kind and helps them express their own unique style. We currently provide clothing for celebrity clients like Nicki Minaj, Kourtney Kardashian, Paula Abdul & many more. We also have had items featured in many of the major TV shows, Millionaire Matchmaker, Dancing with the Stars, Xfactor & Law & Order. |
